Why We Develop the Black Diesel Desulphurization Plant?

Diesel oil, gas oil, and fuel oil products in petroleum refining are obtained via atmospheric and vacuum distillation and through catalytic cracking. However, these still contain a lot of impurities, including organic sulfur and nitrogen, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or PAHs. Such impurities are a major contributor to a decrease in the quality of the fuel.

Fuel combustion of organic sulfur and nitrogen creates noxious and hazardous air pollutants. Colloids are formed from the oxidation and polymerisation of PAHs and nitrogen compounds like benzpyrole. These processes decrease the stability of oil and darken the fuel over time.

To combat these issues, the YANGJIANG R&D team, alongside some universities, has created an advanced method of desulphurisation and denitrification, which can achieve a sulphur content in diesel of about 10 ppm.

Invention Patent for Diesel Desulfurization Technology

We found that solid desulfurizing chemicals greatly limit the effectiveness of desulfurization, and it’s also difficult to collect clear and transparent oil. But our researchers are developing new desulfurization technology, and the chemical used can disperse the positive charge of the solid positive material in the plane, so as to construct a positive charge structure that can interact with both types of chemical electrons.
YANGJIANG has been committed to researching and developing new technologies and collaborating with Chinese universities, and has obtained invention patents for diesel fuel desulfurization in 2018 and 2022.

Carbocation-Based Extraction Desulfurization Mechanism and Advantages

We adopt a carbocation-based extraction desulfurization technology, which offers several advantages: operation under normal temperature and pressure, high safety, controllable raw material costs, and high efficiency.
In this process, liquid chemicals are used to dissolve solid positively charged substances, achieving their liquefaction. The liquefying agents possess unique planar structural characteristics, enabling them to disperse the positive charge of the solid material across the plane. This, in turn, creates a positively charged structure capable of interacting with both types of electrons.
As a result, the method demonstrates excellent performance in removing benzothiophene (BT) and dibenzothiophene (DBT) from oil.

The output diesel fuel is distilled by YJ-DSL series used oil distillation plant and desulphurized by the YJ-SNC based on used diesel engine oil.

Can refine new Euro 5 , Euro 6 standard car diesel from crude oil, oil sludge, heavy oil, tire oil, plastic oil, rubber oil, pyrolysis oil, low quality diesel, sulphur&nitrogen-rich oil, vacuum side streams, acid-refined oil, black diesel oil etc.  

Refined oil out from YJ-SNC with water color, the color is 0.1-0.5.  The density, sulphur content, nitrogen content, acid value, carbon residue, flash point, pour point, cetane number etc. of refined diesel oil can reach or close to hySNCogenated diesel oil.Sulfur content can be less than 10ppm, Euro 6 car diesel.

We can get 99.5-99.9% refined oil after our YJ-SNC, the oil loss rate is only 0.1-0.5%, with white color.
