- With the higher and higher requirement on base oil quality of downstream petrochemical enterprises especially the base oil blending factories, with some old-fashioned technology, the recycled base oil quality is hard to meet the requirement of the downstream user.
- Before the expensive and technologically complex hydrogenation technology is widely used in oil recycling factory, there are many re-refining technologies, such as fuming sulphuric acid refining technology, lewis acid refining technology, this technology is better than the old fashioned technology, but there's still a big gap from hydrogenation technology, the environmental pollution problem, the acid sludge, waste white clay disposal are big problems.
- With the strict policy of the National environmental protection department, many many unqualified small oil recycling and oil refining factories were closed by the government. So now, the market requires a kind of efficient, low processing cost, environmentally friendly and pollution-free refining process.
So, our company invested a lot of money and manpower to develop this type of environmental protection, energy-saving refining equipment YJ-SR series Solvent Extraction Machine.
Process of YJ-SR solvent extraction unit:
- Part 1: Oil color changing system, input raw oil and solvent together, after heating and reacting, the oil and solvent go to five reactors step by step, here the oil color become to lighter gradually, and the solvent color will become to darker gradually(like the right picture, the top part is oil, the bottom part is solvent), then the reactors will separate the oil and solvent.
- Part 2: Solvent recovery system, it can recover the used solvent, make the solvent can be reused again and again, in the whole processing, the solvent loss is 0.3%.
- Part 3: Thin film evaporator, the function is to separate the tiny solvent from oil, it will keep about 2% solvent after five reactors, so we use the thin film evaporator to separate them.

- Low loss: Unlike the normal refining technology with high loss, we design a special structure, it can be targeted separately the impurities, sulfides, oxides, colloid, asphalt which has color and may influence the base oil function. Taking the vacuum distilled base oil, for example, the oil loss is about 1.5-2%; For diesel oil refining, the loss is only 1-1.5%.

What quality of oil we can get form YJ-SR?
Refined oil out from YJ-SR with watercolor, the color is less than 0.1. The viscosity, viscosity index, acid value, carbon residue, demulsification value, pour point, saturated hydrocarbon of refined base oil can reach or close to the API II hydrogenated base oil.
How much oil we can get after our YJ-SR solvent refining equipment?
We can get 98-99% refined oil after our YJ-SR, the loss rate is only 1-2%.
